HO & HON3 Scale Layout

In early 2011, the clubrooms were extended to accommodate construction of a significantly larger HO/OO/HOn3 layout. The layout is double-decked, with a helix providing the connection between levels, and operates under DCC control.

The lower deck is complete and features an 85-metre double-track HO main line, incorporating a large staging yard along with numerous industries, stations, and sidings.

The upper deck is of comparable size to the lower deck and includes both standard-gauge HO and narrow-gauge trackage. Considerable scenery work is currently underway on the upper deck to complete the layout, with this work being carried out in a manner that does not affect train operations.
