MAL - Multiple Accessible Layout

Construction of a new HO Scale permanent layout, designed to be more accessible to people with mobility issues and to support DC as well as DCC, began in early 2025.

While still incomplete, it is now available for club members to use. Currently, only the two HO/OO mainline (standard gauge) tracks are complete. With the third dual gauge (HO/OO + HOn3.5) mainline, multiple yards and scenery yet to be completed.

While not designed for it, Queensland prototype Sn3.5 rolling stock will ‘fit’ on the layout. To a lesser extent On30 will also ‘fit’ on the layout.
